MU Notes

Lvl 7 vs Nexus

  1. Running and crouching goes under short hot forward air

  2. Falcos ariels have decent landing lag, so stays grounded in neutral

  3. Remember ariel side B can not be punishd by KO punch (use up Smash instead), grounded can (14 vs 20 frames on shield)

  4. You can neutral B falco’s side B (dont release early, just wait and release after passes through)

  5. Falco’s usually will grab out of shield or nair. They get lot of combos off of grabs so if push shield back likely to get whiff

  6. 1:40 -> In decent close range you can roll react away from side B

  7. A1:50 -> Ariels can only neutral B nair and fair, in combos many times falco going for up air (you can not neutral B this)

  8. SDI everything you can, away for fairs and nairs(if falco is moving forward with nair you can sometimes Sdi in) you Sdi uptilts up so it makes combos harder, DI in when you get hit with uptilt at up tilt back air percents, but that can get you mixed up with up air so be careful

  9. From Falco main, “I don’t think disadvantage really matters to you if it doesn’t send Mac offstage To really do anything to you I gotta box with you And you out button and damage me” - Amarion

  10. Falco likes stages with plats (eg battlefield is best likely)

TODO: come up with what to start game with so center self and get in right mind set (eg stay grounded, let them approach, etc). Especially as get nervous this will help trigger your right mindset right away
